Colmena

In "Colmena," Gonzalo Gatto brilliantly transforms the mundane into the majestic. An array of plates, meticulously laid out on the floor, transcends its everyday identity to suggest the intricate structure of a beehive. Each ceramic piece, with its unique design and imperfections, mirrors the individual chambers of a hive, hinting at the world's interconnectedness and the beauty of collective labor. Through this artwork, Gatto draws parallels between nature's architectural wonders and human craftsmanship, inviting viewers to find harmony in unexpected places.
