Chromatic Awakening

"Chromatic Awakening" is an evocative piece by Alfonso Garrido that challenges the observer's expectations. With a striking use of a heatwave filter, Garrido elevates the flamingo from its natural state into a canvas of vibrant, questioning color. This artistic choice sparks a conversation about environmental impact and the true colors of nature, inviting reflection on what we expect versus what truly is. The flamingo, a symbol of beauty and balance, becomes a beacon of awareness, awakening us to the chromatic realities altered by our world.
