Geometric Earth

In "Geometric Earth", Gonzalo Gatto weaves a narrative that is both rich in culture and deeply rooted in the essence of the land. Against the backdrop of the vibrant 'kaancab' or red earth, the artwork presents a meticulous geometrical pattern formed by artisanal cups, the legacy of the revered Espadas Family. The visual juxtaposition of the earth's raw, untamed beauty and the refined, deliberate design of the cups creates a profound statement. It's an ode to the harmonious dance between nature's wild palette and human artistry, celebrating the continuity of tradition and the persistent pulse of life in the Yucatán.
